Cultivate Inspiration Through Intention and Apply It With Empowered Arrangement:

Updated: Jan 22

How can we harness the powerful connection between inspiration and intention in our daily lives ? In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, the quest for inspiration becomes even more vital. Inspiration is that magical force within that encourages our creativity and moves us to act on it. It is a beacon of light in our darkest hours that guides us toward our dreams.

I have heard it said that hope alone is not a plan. But I say, without hope you have no energy or desire to formulate a plan and that amounts to despair. Let’s explore a bit the relationship between inspiration and what it means to be “in spirit” or inspired.

The Essence of Inspiration

Inspiration is the spark that ignites the flame of innovation, creativity, and progression. It’s impact on the course of our lives is immeasurable. To harness this power, it is helpful to understand that at its core being inspired means being “in spirit”. This is a reminder that often our greatest achievements stem from a strong alignment with our truest, most authentic selves.

The Power of Intention

Intention, can be described as the conscious act of setting our mind on a specific goal or purpose. It plays a crucial role in the journey to inspiration because it acts as the compass that directs our thoughts and actions toward our desired destination or, outcome. When we set a clear intention, we create a powerful force propelling us forward. Throughout history there are amazing individuals that not only inspired themselves, but also countless others through their art, activism, and inventions.

The Connection: “In-Spirit”

When we are inspired, we are in a state of alignment with our inner spirit and true essence. This alignment allows us to access our innate creativity and determination. We become vessels through which ideas bubble up and obstacles seem surmountable. The word inspired originates from the Latin inspirare meaning; to breathe life into or to infuse with life. For me this underscores the idea that inspiration is a form of spiritual infusion. When we are in harmony with our inner spirit it is as if the universe is breathing life into our dreams and aspirations.

Cultivating Inspiration through Intention

Use the following steps to harness the powerful connection between intention and inspiration during your daily life;

1. Clarify Your Intentions

What is your “why” ? You might have big, lofty aspirations in a 10 year plan or, smaller goals to achieve over less time. Clearly define what your goals and dreams are. What do you want to achieve ? Speak these out loud in front of the mirror, write them in your journal , on a calendar or set electronic reminders in the platform of your choice.

2. Seek Out Inspiration

Expose yourself to things that resonate with your intentions and use Feng Shui to invite them in.

The West positioned Joy/Creativity area and the Southeast positioned Knowledge/Skills area can be used to manifest sources of inspiration.

3. Practice Mindfulness

Regularly practice meditation or other mindfulness modalities to connect to your inner spirit. Whether you do so walking in nature, visiting the beach, or riding horses, encouraging this inner connection will enhance your receptivity to inspiration. I particularly love Vipassana Meditation for goal setting, problem solving and creative ideas. Use whatever practice resonates with you.

4. Take Inspired Action

Don’t wait for inspiration to strike, act on it. Through our system of Empowered Arrangement, you can cultivate an environment around you that is conducive to generating creativity and inspired ideas. Use this to propel yourself toward your goals each day.

5. Share Your Inspiration

Inspire others by sharing your journey, your intentions, and the wisdom you have gained along the way. In doing so, you create a ripple effect of inspiration and positive energy.

Inspiration is not a random occurrence but a powerful force that stems from being “In-Spirit” with our highest selves. By setting clear intentions and nurturing our connection with Spirit we can unlock the full potential of inspiration in our lives. As we do so, we not only achieve our own dreams, but also inspire others to do the same, creating a world filled with purpose, creativity, and positive change.

Remember, to inspire is to be “In-Spirit” and within that spirit lies the limitless power of intention that can be put to work in your space through our system of Empowered Arrangement.
